My daughter liked the fit and it was age appropriate. (Age 10). The only weirded thing is that the collars didn't lay flat even after ironing.I love the price and the colorsThese are a great fit for slim kids, average or up kids might need to size up. I think we have 8 of these now. One star taken off because the neck band consistently flips outward in front on every shirt. Smoothing directly from the dryer sometimes works to get it flat.First, I purchased the XL for a 9 1/2 year old given the reviews to go large. She is average, may be a little on the petite side, but athletic. The XL is great, roomy but not huge. Thanks to all the reviewers taking the time to provide fit information. The fabric is not thin, it is light, great for layering, especially with fleeces. Stretchy. The pink with dinosaur skeletons and the black are versatile with pants. Great buy!I ordered these shirts for my grand daughter. She was outgrowing a size 10, so 12 seemed the logical next size.They show the midriff if her arms are raised. Sleeves are bordering too short. Next time I would go up an extra size.The shirts are great, but our daughter usually wears a size 14 or XL. THIS XL fits more like a large/10-12. The sleeves were too short and snug and the torso was, too. Luckily, we have a younger daughter who will wear them.Comfy, simple, cute shirts For my daughter. We both like them. Fits as expected.
